What I Loved About Eclipse

Just so everyone knows, I absolutely LOVED Eclipse! Really. I think it's the best Twilight movie yet! I don't like seeing the movies in the theater (especially right when they come out) because of the screaming 14 year old girls (and sometimes 42 year old women!), but this one wasn't too bad. Of course there were the cat calls and clapping when Jacob showed up the first time, but it wasn't as bad as when I saw Twilight (there was squealing and whistling almost the entire time).

Edward definitely had his hot moments (anyone else think that his hair looked awesome?)

I liked the new Victoria, especially her hair.

I loved the scene at the beginning when they were in the meadow.

I loved Jacob!

I loved the tension you could literally feel when Jacob, Edward, and Bella were together.

The Cullens were awesome, as usual (Rosalie is SO gorgeous!). And Jasper was great in this one (he was kind of weird in New Moon... you know what I'm talking about).

Now I just want to see it again! How many times do you guys think I'll see it? :) Let me know in the comments what you thought about the movie!

I Have Skills... Crocheting Skills.

I wanted to show you all what I've been working on lately... I'm obsessed with crocheting. Really. Chris has come home from work to find me crocheting on the couch almost every day this week and he usually says, "So what are you making now ??" He likes the things I've made, he's just surprised at how much I'm creating. It's like I've kicked the crafting into high gear and I'm cranking out a ton of things each week. Is that bad? It makes me happy and I have a lot of time on my hands right now.

{Side note: The job that I had ended last week (it was a student job and I graduated so I'm no longer a student) so what else am I going to do? I do have my Etsy store (which is the best job ever!) but I will have to find something else that will help pay the bills during the slow times. So (I'm rambling, sorry) I've been filling my time with crocheting. And don't worry, I am looking for another job but it all takes time. In the meantime, expect lots up updates to my shop and many exciting blog posts.}

Let me introduce you to Jack the whale. I made this coffee/soda/hot chocolate cozy for my friend Kayleigh to say thank you for helping me out at the Bijou Market a few weeks ago. I liked him so much that he may find his way into my shop very soon (with the addition of a mouth.. he doesn't have one in this picture).

Chris' younger sister Ally was my model for these pictures and she did a fabulous job!
This purple headband is one of my favorites. What do you think?
I got the flower pattern from http://creativeyarn.blogspot.com/

I'm in LOVE with these hats. They turned out amazing! I love the colors, I love the way they look, I love the way they fit...they are beautiful and they make me happy. These will definitely be listed in my shop.

And finally, everyone needs a crocheted bow. I've been making these in tons of colors and they are so cute! I'll be adding these to my shop also.

So what do you think? Any favorites? Let me know in the comments below. Have a great Friday!

Red & Pink Goodness

I created a treasury! What do you think? I love the colors, they are so pretty! You can check it out here.

Bijou Market

I wanted to post up a few pictures from the Bijou Market a couple of weeks ago. I'm usually the one who takes pictures like crazy but I think the heat was getting to me that day and I totally spaced that out. So when my mother in law came to visit me, she asked if I had gotten pictures of my booth and then I panicked. The market was almost over and I hadn't gotten any pictures! So I got these... (please excuse the green-ish color they all have, my canopy was green and white striped)

I borrowed the cake tiers from my mother in law, aren't they adorable? They make my earrings look like little treats! They were perfect! Now I just need to find some of my own so I can use them next time I sell at a market. Anyone know where I can get a set?

 I love the bright colors!

And here I am sitting behind my table. I don't think I really needed to sit there all day but it was fun talking to the people that came to check out my jewelry.

The market was so much fun! I really want to do more! I really wish I could make this my full time job. :)
